Where is the International Academy of Macomb on this list? As a top-performing public magnet school in Macomb County, with a several year track record of performance, it would seem that it would qualify to be on this list somewhere. Since this study of "Academic State Champs" uses socioeconomic and income data to evaluate the performance of these schools, the IAM would be particularly well-suited as a success story for your study. As a public school which accepts students from most districts in Macomb County without regard to income, whose students achieve a high level of academic success, IAM should rank highly by just about any measure.
