The two major-party candidates for Michigan Secretary of State both vow to make it easier and quicker for Michiganders when they have to visit a branch office, while ensuring the state’s election system is secure.

Whoever wins on Nov. 6 will also have to implement state ballot initiatives — should voters approve them — to create an independent legislative redistricting system and to increase voting access in the state. Republican Mary Treder Lang said she opposes both proposals, while Democrat Jocelyn Benson said she supports them.

Here is who is supporting each candidate with days to go before voters go to the polls.

Pretty lopsided in terms of endorsements...
Hopefully the vote will also reflect that.

Lang is against proposal 2 which means she is for gerrymandering. Also wants to clean up voter rolls which is done on a monthly basis now. I believe she is more interested in purging, ala Kobach, Kemp and other Rs.
