Join Bridge discussion on the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative

Bridge Michigan invites readers to join us from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 12 for a Zoom discussion about the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, a 12-year-old federal program that has dedicated billions of dollars to restoring waterways throughout the Great Lakes basin.

The program, which was in danger of elimination during the Trump administration, recently was awarded $1 billion in new federal funding for toxic site cleanups, habitat restoration and other projects.
