This isn't being held "all about Michigan", this is all taking place in Southwest Michigan. Hardly a Michigan-wide activity for every region to participate in.

So, if you live anywhere in Michigan not within driving distance of GR/Kalamazoo, you have no way to participate. I'm guessing that the East Michigan championships will be located in Saginaw, Flint and Detroit? No love for #NoMI, as usual.

I love this idea! Could you expand it to the Lansing area?

I would really appreciate if any of these venues were located in a non-bar setting. I have no desire to go into a loud and noisy Sports Bar for any reason. Which means I immediately throw away any of these opportunities. Michigan Radio seems to do the same thing. Why is it if you're not a bar hopper you're excluded from everything else. There are many of us out here who would love to see a family-friendly setting.

Will there be contests located out-state as well the Detroit Metro area?

Yes! If you refresh the story you'll see the dates for the Detroit area. This is a new concept which we held in the West Michigan, and now the Southeast Michigan areas.

There must have an earlier round near GR and Kalamazoo (based on the April comments) and now only in SE Michigan? Instead of a week-long blitz in one area, it would be nice to have fewer sessions in a wider area (although the logistics are not lost on me). Wish I had caught these when they were near Grand Rapids.
