Join Bridge Lunch Break about Michigan’s teacher staffing issues and solutions

September lunch break

Bridge Michigan invites readers to join us for our monthly Bridge Lunch Break series on Wednesday, September 28. This time around, we'll discuss the current teacher staffing challenges in Michigan’s K-12 schools and potential solutions to this issue.

Joining the conversation: Christina Gibson, superintendent of Eastpointe Community Schools; Kendra Hearn, associate dean of Undergraduate Education & Educator Preparation in the University of Michigan School of Education; Tara Kilbride, assistant director for Research at Michigan State University’s Education Policy Innovation Collaborative; and Micky Savage, director of Human Resources & Labor Relations for Grand Rapids Public Schools.

Bridge Michigan education reporter Isabel Lohman will moderate the hour-long discussion from noon to 1 p.m.
